What type of work do you do?

My daily work is to conduct market research and deliver market insight to client enquiries, meetings, and regional conferences. To accomplish this, I must engage and build relationships with structured product practitioners in APAC to gather market insight from different perspectives – sell sides, buy sides, and service providers – and drive participation in SRP conferences and awards. I work closely with the sales and data team in developing a link between business and product strategy in APAC.

What led you to work in your role?

After an 8-month career break, I wanted to return to the financial market intelligence field. Derivia Intelligence offered me a great opportunity in this role. It took me on a new journey in structured products and built up my knowledge from zero.

What did you do before joining Derivia Intelligence?

I was a Sales Operations Manager at Willis Towers Watson, compiling and analysing data to determine approaches to improve sales and performance across business pillars. Before that, I was the Client Service Manager at NASDAQ. I was responsible for onboarding and engaging clients with multiple desktop products, responding to daily enquiries regarding data and system functionality, and managing performance efficiency.

What do you like best about working at Derivia Intelligence?

I enjoy working collaboratively with regional teams like sales, data, editorial, marketing, and operations in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Working at Derivia means having the opportunity to learn new things every day and strengthen my financial knowledge further. I also love the work flexibility at Derivia so I can maintain a healthy work-life balance.
